Barack Obama Visits Jamaica and Bob Marley’s Museum

Barack Obama is the first president to visit the country in 33 years. The last president to step foot in Jamaica was Ronald Reagan in 1982. He arrived in Kingston yesterday evening and met with Prime Minister Portia Simpson-Miller and Us Ambassador to Jamaica Luis Moreno. He also posed with the fastest man himself, Usain Bolt.

He visited the Bob Marley museum which is  the house where Bob Marley lived until his death in 1981. He mentioned that he still has all the album sof the legend.

He did not only spend time visiting but also wanted to discuss energy, security and trade. The president will then travel to Panama to attend a Western Hemisphere Summit which he will face ff with Venezuelan President, Nicolas Maduro who wants to confront him over the new U.S Sanctions. Then he will be at the Summit of the Americas where he will meet with Cuban President Raul Castro, for the first time since they reestablished diplomatic relations thus loosen travel and economic policies.
